This course focuses on nursing as both a science and a discipline. The concepts of clinical judgment, ethics, and evidence-based practice are emphasized. The steps of both the research process and the evidence-based practice process are examined, and the tools necessary to evaluate and apply research findings to clinical decision-making are provided. The ethical conduct of scholarly activities is discussed. Prerequisites: None
