Course Description

This is the first course in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Scholarly Project series that equips DNP students with the skills necessary to design, implement, and evaluate complex healthcare delivery programs and evidence-based practice projects. Building on a foundation of scientific inquiry and advanced practice competencies, students will critically analyze existing evidence and begin to develop proposals that outline innovative solutions to improve patient care or system performance. Emphasis is placed on leadership in system change, the application of evidence-based practice, and strategic planning for project implementation and evaluation. Prerequisites: None
