This course is designed to introduce students to financial forensics in accounting. The class teaches students the nuances of the interrelationship of financial issues and legal claims and provides an opportunity for students to apply forensic consulting practice management techniques in the classroom setting. Topics can include business damage calculations and analyses, personal economic losses, community property financial issues, and financial expert witness testimony. Prerequisite: ACCT 300.
